The idea was born out of love for the great extremes and contradictions of New Yorkers. We seek the most unique experiences in the most far-off lands but are staunchly loyal to our home in the best city in the world. We are some of the most dynamic and open people, but it can be challenging to find our community. We are successful and fulfilled in our creative endeavors, but we often have trouble finding the time to enjoy the life we work so diligently to afford. Le Chéile celebrates the idea that you can live all of these beautiful contradictions and truly HAVE IT ALL.
Our mission is to connect New Yorkers through the joy of travel, building community locally at our NYC based social events and globally on our member trips around the world. The love of travel is something that transcends age, gender, background, education and worldview, and we seek to build a community of interesting people spanning all of these categories but with the shared passion for exploring and experiencing the world.
Members and their guests can secure a coveted spot on one or more of our trips set in some of the most interesting destinations around the world.
Trips are planned with the utmost consideration for luxury and cultural immersion. All details are taken care of with pristine detail including nightly events, daily suggested activities and luxury transportation, so as to remove any worry beyond getting there and having the most legendary time.
Charitable opportunities on each trip are available for members, as we appreciate the privilege that it is travel and seek to give back in whatever way possible.
Le Chéile strives to curate experiences that are once-in-a-lifetime. The people, conversation and special events on each trip make for extraordinary memories shared by a community of individuals who don’t just want to travel, but truly EXPERIENCE.
Le Chéile hosts several events in NYC every year at the most interesting places the city has to offer, a key benefit of not being bound to one concrete location. The series of soirées includes our special annual event: the New Year’s Reveal. Here, all members are invited to not only celebrate the year’s end, but also Le Chéile’s upcoming travel itinerary, unveiled just before midnight.
Subsequent events are open to all members and their guests and feature their own unique themes. NYC events allow for old acquaintances to connect, new friends to meet and and a place to reminisce past trips/ fantasize about those to come.
Giving back is a key element of our community identity. Volunteer opportunities are organized and available as optional throughout the year to give back to the communities in which we live.

PROSPECTIVE MEMBER PROFILE
Unlike other members clubs, we don’t care what you do during the day, but we are looking for dynamic individuals who are: funny, passionate, kind, are storytellers, leaders, artists and committed to charity; those who understand the privilege that it is to travel and who are constantly searching for unique experiences that capture the essence of the cultures and places they seek to explore.
